\nWe invite\u00a0applications from creative early-career scientists<\/b>\u00a0investigating a fundamental question in developmental biology to join the IBDM community.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0IBDM is<\/b>\u00a0an<\/b>\u00a0internationally renowned<\/b>\u00a0research center in developmental biology<\/b>\u00a0that studies fundamental mechanisms governing the organization and function of biological systems, using multiscale approaches in a range of animal and cellular models. Research activities at the IBDM synergistically connect developmental biology with molecular, cell and computational biology, as well as evolution, neurobiology, physiology, physiopathology, biophysics, and cancer. The\u00a0IBDM uniquely fosters interdisciplinary approaches\u00a0<\/b>by its intimate connections with various research-training networks\u00a0within the Aix-Marseille University (AMU) (CenTuri<\/a>,\u00a0NeuroMarseille<\/a>,\u00a0ICI<\/a>\u00a0(Cancer-Immuno),\u00a0MarMaRa<\/a>\u00a0(Rare-Diseases),\u00a0Marseille Imaging<\/a>, Cancerop\u00f4le-PACA<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The IBDM, affiliated with CNRS and AMU, strongly benefits from its\u00a0collaborative and international scientific culture<\/b>, English working language, and its fantastic environment on the Marseille Luminy campus, located in the heart of the\u00a0Calanques National Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The IBDM is committed to\u00a0promoting<\/b>\u00a0equality, diversity and inclusivity<\/b>. The selected candidates will receive support to establish a group in a\u00a0fully renovated building<\/b>, have access to\u00a0cutting-edge scientific core facilities,\u00a0<\/b>and will be assisted in obtaining a\u00a0tenured position<\/b>\u00a0(CNRS or AMU), and in securing extramural funding (ATIP\/Avenir, ERC, etc\u2026).<\/p>\n
