Une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cemment publi\u00e9e dans elife par l&#8217;\u00e9quipe de Pascale Durbec en collaboration avec Anna Williams (MRC, Universit\u00e9 d&#8217;Edimbourg) andKay Grobe (WWU M\u00fcnster)\u00a0a montr\u00e9 que les cellules OLG matures \u00e9pargn\u00e9es par le processus d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratif entourant les l\u00e9sions d\u00e9my\u00e9linis\u00e9es contribuent \u00e9galement \u00e0 ce m\u00e9canisme de r\u00e9paration en produisant des HS et en modulant la voie de signalisation Shh. L&#8217;inactivation conditionnelle de Ndst1, une enzyme cl\u00e9 dans la synth\u00e8se des heparans sulfates, dans les oligodendrocytes de souris conduit \u00e0 augmenter la taille des l\u00e9sions, \u00e0 maintenir la r\u00e9activit\u00e9 des microglies et des prog\u00e9niteurs et \u00e0 diminuer la fixation de Shh et l&#8217;activation de la voie.
