Cette nomination a \u00e9t\u00e9 port\u00e9e par le <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/staging.wp-ibdm.nicolasg.fr\/fr\/team\/organisation-et-dynamique-des-formes-biologiques\/\">Professeur Thomas Lecuit<\/a><\/strong>, titulaire de la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.college-de-france.fr\/fr\/chaire\/thomas-lecuit-dynamiques-du-vivant-chaire-statutaire\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chaire Dynamiques du vivant<\/a><\/strong> au <strong>Coll\u00e8ge de France<\/strong>. <\/p><p>Apr\u00e8s une formation en math\u00e9matiques appliqu\u00e9es, <strong>Marc-\u00c9ric Perrin<\/strong> a rejoint le <strong>Turing Center <\/strong>puis l\u2019<strong>IBDM <\/strong>pour mener une th\u00e8se consacr\u00e9e \u00e0 la mod\u00e9lisation de la croissance des neurones sensoriels chez la drosophile. Son travail combine analyse d\u2019images, algorithmes, biophysique et biologie du d\u00e9veloppement afin de comprendre comment les neurones acqui\u00e8rent leurs formes arborescentes complexes. <\/p><p><strong>Ce prix valorise pleinement la d\u00e9marche interdisciplinaire port\u00e9e par Marc-\u00c9ric Perrin, \u00e0 l\u2019interface entre math\u00e9matiques et biologie, et t\u00e9moigne du dynamisme de la recherche men\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019IBDM.
