Dans une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e dans <em>Glia<\/em>, les chercheurs Martha Montserrat Rangel Sosa, Fanny Mann et Sophie Chauvet ont d\u00e9couvert que ces cellules jouent \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le crucial dans le remodelage nerveux li\u00e9 au cancer.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ce travail s&#8217;appuie sur les recherches pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes de l&#8217;\u00e9quipe dans le cancer du pancr\u00e9as, qui ont montr\u00e9 que les fibres nerveuses sympathiques croissent dans les l\u00e9sions pancr\u00e9atiques et contribuent \u00e0 la protection contre les tumeurs. Cette \u00e9tude a trouv\u00e9 une forte association entre les cellules de Schwann pancr\u00e9atiques non my\u00e9linisantes (nm-pSCs) et les terminaisons nerveuses sympathiques en croissance.  <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); letter-spacing: var( --e-global-typography-text-letter-spacing );\">Ces nm-pSCs montrent une prolif\u00e9ration accrue, un changement de morphologie et une surexpression du facteur neurotrophique GDNF. Lorsque le g\u00e8ne GDNF a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9 dans ces cellules, la croissance des fibres nerveuses a \u00e9t\u00e9 emp\u00each\u00e9e.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); letter-spacing: var( --e-global-typography-text-letter-spacing );\"> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); letter-spacing: var( --e-global-typography-text-letter-spacing );\">Ces r\u00e9sultats montrent que les cellules de Schwann peuvent se reprogrammer pour favoriser le remodelage nerveux en r\u00e9ponse au cancer, ce qui sugg\u00e8re qu&#8217;elles pourraient repr\u00e9senter une nouvelle cible cellulaire pour le traitement du cancer. <br>\n<br>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/full\/10.1002\/glia.24586\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><g id=\"gid_0\">Rangel-Sosa MM, Mann F, Chauvet S.
