Dans une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente publi\u00e9e dans Cell Reports, Mike Altounian, Ana\u00efs Bellon et Fanny Mann ont montr\u00e9 qu&#8217;une exposition mod\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;alcool pendant le d\u00e9veloppement pr\u00e9natal du cerveau affecte le corps calleux, un tractus de mati\u00e8re blanche reliant les deux h\u00e9misph\u00e8res du cerveau. En cons\u00e9quence, les axones du corps calleux sont mal dirig\u00e9s et se terminent dans les mauvaises r\u00e9gions du cerveau. Ces anomalies persistent \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e2ge adulte et sont associ\u00e9es \u00e0 des difficult\u00e9s comportementales dans des t\u00e2ches sensorimotrices complexes. Au cours de leurs recherches, les scientifiques ont identifi\u00e9 un microARN, le miR-17-5p, et sa cible, le r\u00e9cepteur de guidage axonal EphA4, comme des \u00e9l\u00e9ments cl\u00e9s des effets de l&#8217;alcool. Cette \u00e9tude sugg\u00e8re que la r\u00e9gulation des microARN sensibles \u00e0 l&#8217;alcool peut influencer la connectivit\u00e9 c\u00e9r\u00e9brale.
