Je suis extr\u00eamement reconnaissante \u00e0 l'institut pour son accueil si chaleureux \u00e0 l'\u00e9gard d'une \u00e9tudiante internationale qui parlait \u00e0 peine le fran\u00e7ais. J'ai nou\u00e9 plusieurs relations durables, tant \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur qu'\u00e0 l'ext\u00e9rieur du laboratoire. Je me souviens du personnel administratif qui m'a aid\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9server un vol pour l'Inde la veille de No\u00ebl. Je me souviens aussi tr\u00e8s bien des s\u00e9minaires hebdomadaires auxquels tout le monde participait et prenait le temps de donner son avis aux \u00e9tudiants. Mon s\u00e9jour \u00e0 l'IBDM me manque, ainsi que les longues promenades dans les Calanques voisines entre les exp\u00e9riences et les analyses des donn\u00e9es. Je suis maintenant enseignante \u00e0 la facult\u00e9 de m\u00e9decine de l'Universit\u00e9 Duke. Un environnement riche sur le plan scientifique et humain. Cette richesse s'accompagne d'excellents services et \u00e9quipements qui m'ont permis de progresser rapidement et s\u00fbrement. L'IBDM a ouvert mon esprit scientifique sur plusieurs th\u00e8mes, m'a donn\u00e9 l'opportunit\u00e9 de travailler avec des chercheurs de renomm\u00e9e mondiale, m'a aid\u00e9 \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper mes projets de recherche avec beaucoup de conseils et de partage d'exp\u00e9rience et enfin a beaucoup particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la construction du scientifique que je suis maintenant. Enfin, le cadre de travail exceptionnel offert par le Parc national des Calanques contribue \u00e9galement \u00e0 la bonne atmosph\u00e8re qui r\u00e8gne dans cet institut de recherche. J'ai beaucoup appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 et je garde de bons souvenirs de mon s\u00e9jour. La communaut\u00e9 des doctorants et post-doctorants \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s dynamique et amicale. Je suis toujours en contact avec de nombreux doctorants, dont certains sont maintenant des coll\u00e8gues chefs de groupe juniors. Je me souviens aussi des s\u00e9minaires externes, o\u00f9 la plupart des gens allaient, les orateurs \u00e9taient excellents.
