Missions : This position involves designing, planning and conducting an artificial selection experiment aimed at modifying the egg-laying behaviour of Drosophila populations on different substrates. It includes implementing the experimental protocols necessary for maintaining, reproducing and monitoring the lines, as well as collecting, organising and analysing data on behaviour and population dynamics. The position also involves ensuring the reliability and reproducibility of experiments, participating in the promotion of results (figures, datasets, reports or publications), and contributing to the management and smooth running of the Drosophila breeding platform.
This is a one-year fixed-term contract position in the ‘Evolution and Development of Morphology and Behaviour’ team led by Benjamin Prud’homme.
